In Japan, only letters with names registered to the household will be delivered. So, even if the address is correct, the letter will not be delivered if the name of the letter belongs to someone else.Ashley sent a Christmas Card to Jiji and Baba (Grandpa and Grandma) in Japan last Christmas. And instead of writing grandpa and grandma's name on the envelope, she wrote "Jiji Baba" which means "grandpa grandma"
Well, Jiji and baba did eventually get the card - after the postman came into the house to check if they the card belongs to them.
